I never imagined I would be living my dream every day growing a business I truly believed in and felt good about. I started babysitting while wrapping up my last 2 years at the University of San Francisco. Trying to work regular hours and go to school proved to be difficult--babysitting was the perfect fit. I got to make my own hours, meet great new families as well as form ever lasting relationships. Soon my babysitting schedule became so busy I couldn't manage it anymore and started to refer my friends. Before I knew it I was just referring great sitters in my free time. My babysitting referral business became so popular because there was such a need. That is when I knew this would become my full-time job and that got me excited. Everywhere I turned it seemed parents needed a well qualified individual they could call on last minute for a meeting, a getaway, a nite out, and I wanted to fill that gap. WonderSitter (formerly Core Group) has been making these connections between clients and sitters ever since.
